‘FLOWERS ALWAYS’ collection

Flowers hold enormous symbolism within our culture, representing friendship, love, hope, solidarity and grief. Growing and picking a weekly vase of flowers from my allotment has become an important act of self care, anchoring me within the seasons and bringing me joy on both the good and bad days. In this collection I aim to paint one vase each month throughout the year, a purposely slow and considered process celebrating the beauty of flowers.

20% of all sales from this collection will be donated to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, a cause very close to my heart.

‘SHADOW DANCE’ collection

I have always been fascinated with the movement of light through foliage. I can loose myself for many minutes watching shadows dance on the ground, the light flicker and fade through leaves, ever changing, never still. This collection is my attempt to capture something of this dance, the resulting mixed media paintings are full of movement and colour.
