Bespoke artwork based on a photograph provided by the client. The artist has the right to turn down the commission if a high quality photograph cannot be provided.

Photographic rights

If the reference photograph is not the client’s own, the client must obtain permission from the owner of the photograph.

Privacy

Contact details including telephone numbers, addresses and email addresses of customers are always kept entirely confidential. I never sell or pass on any customer information to anybody. Once your portrait is completed I will delete your contact details and will not contact you in the future unless you opt-in by joining my mailing list.

If you contact me to enquire or discuss a possible portrait but decide not to commission one, I will not retain your contact information unless you opt-in by joining my mailing list.

You may unsubscribe from my mailing list at any time by using the ‘unsubscribe’ link.

Once the artwork has been completed and received by the client any reference photographs will be deleted. I will keep a scan of the finished artwork as well as the client’s name on file for my records. If you do not wish me to retain this information please let me know and I will delete it.

Guarantees

If you are not completely happy with your portrait and I can’t ammend it to your satisfaction, you can return it for a full refund within 30 days, excluding the cost of return postage. If the portrait is lost or damaged in transit then a full refund will be issued, or a replacement of the portrait offered.

Copyright

The artist retains full copyright on portraits I produce, however I am happy for clients to use image of their purchased artwork for any non-commercial purpose. The client does not have the right to sell copies of the work in any way without permission from the artist.

Completion dates and Delivery

A completion date will be agreed before starting the commission and I will always strive to complete promptly. The client will be notified when the artwork has been dispatched.

Artworks will be packaged securely and delivered by hand if local, or via Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. Post and packing costs are included in the price listed. If the portrait is to be delivered overseas then additional post and packing charges will be added to the final balance.

Use of finished portraits

I may display finished portraits on this website, or on my Facebook or Instagram pages for the purposes of promotion. I will always check with you whether you are happy for your portrait to be used in this way. I never include personal details such as names alongside the images.
